After an absence of work undertaken at Highland Spring’s Freight Terminal due to the interruption of the Covid pandemic, work resumed in January 2022 with Luddon Construction moving a team onto the site. Their remit was to address the ballast levels on the solum which would bear the future rail sidings. As two years had passed, it was deemed necessary to check for settlement of the ground, and the general levels where the sidings were due to be installed.
Please contact the Society Secretary here with any information or if you would like to enquire about the cost for high resolution copies of some of the photographs. Please quote both the number and the title so we know which photo you are referring to.
